Hello all

The band has been taking a much needed rest period so everyone can heal up.  Jeff had a very serious bout with double pneumonia.  I believe that he was dealing with that nasty combination of flu and pneumonia that has already killed a few folks out there.  The show at the Durty Bird was a lot of fun but Jeff was still having some trouble with the after effects of the double pneumonia.  Very happy to say that he is on the mend and feeling much better.  We have some shows booked for February already. We are at Sodbuster's in Sylvania on the 8th and for Valentines Day weekend I believe we are going to be at Michael's in Flat Rock.  (still waiting on confirmation on that)  We are looking forward to seeing everyone soon!

Crazy storms

We have been busy since my last post.  We had a fun show at Mayflower Lanes on New Years Eve.  The weather turned bad after the show and it took quite a while to make it back home.  After that show Jeff came down with double  pneumonia and ended up in the hospital for a few days.  That guy is a trooper.  He was having a hard time at the show and refused to quit, and pushed himself to the limit. What a great guy!

The last few days, as a result of the polar vortex, I have been snowed in at home.  It was actually a nice break from the grind of daily life.  But, with Jeff on the mend, the snowfall stopping, and everyone rested up, we are ready for our show this Friday February 10th at Ye Olde Durty Bird in downtown Toledo.  Hope to see ya there!!

Great show at Michael's On The River

We want to thank everyone at Michael's On The River for having us this past Saturday.  We had such a great time!  The place was packed and we enjoyed seeing all the people dancing and singing along.  My favorite part of the night was when we brought up the 4 girls that wanted to sing on the stage.  They rocked out to Wild Thing and had a great time!  We had so much fun even with 2/3 of the band being sick.

Show update

Due to the weather we have to cancel the show at Big Al's Sports Grille scheduled for tonight.

Having a drummer coming from Garden City, and a guitarist coming from Toledo, and a bassist from Brownstown Twp. makes it difficult sometimes. Safety is the reason…not to mention the Level Two Snow Emergency put on Toledo by the Lucas County Sheriff's Office…

Peace, and please be safe out there! The roads here in Toledo are terrible!!

The Sodbuster Bar show update

Due to unforeseen circumstances, we regretfully have to cancel our upcoming show at The Sodbuster Bar. We were looking forward to entertaining everyone there and hope to reschedule with them soon. Our thoughts and prayers are with Jeff and his family during this very difficult time.

Thank you to all who came to see us at Michael's on the river

We had a great time this past Friday at Michael's.  We always have a great time playing there.  Great food and drinks kept us rocking all night.  Apparently, it worked for our fans too as we enjoyed watching people sing along, tap their feet, and dance! If you missed us this time around, don't fret because we will be back December 28th!

Getting ready for this Friday Nov. 1st

We have been really busy trying to learn new stuff for the show this Friday at Michael's On The River in Flat Rock Michigan.  This will be the debut of our newest addition to Kahootz.  Jeff Dennis will be working the skins and providing you the beat to tap your feet to and dance.  So mark your calendars and show up for a great time!  Hope to see you there.
